Fashion Designer To Personal Stylist
My passion for design, fashion, and style began at a very young age - drawing and making clothes for my dolls then myself. Which in turn led me to a degree in fashion design and a career working for renowned brands ranging from M&S, to Zara, to luxury label Sportmax. A career that allowed me to work across the globe- from New York and Paris to Delhi, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Istanbul. It gave me a unique window into how culture, fashion, and personal style differ around the world. Plus I understand firsthand how pressured a busy life can be, style should not be an added stress.
Personal Styling Connection
I diversified into personal styling after many years in design, when I helped a stressed-out friend who had no idea what to wear for her birthday. Seeing her joy and the positive reactions from everyone around her was a lightbulb moment. It made me realise I could use my intuitive styling and design skills to build confidence and positively impact individuals style and ultimately many aspects of their personal and professional lives.
In 2014 I completed a styling course at Aston & Hayes and initially balancing styling and design for 4 years to build up my experience. Today I share all my knowledge and expertise with my individual personal styling clients and through style talks for companies.
A Dual Design & Style Perspective
Through dual experience I have an eye for detail and an expert understanding of how clothes are constructed. I know exactly how fabrics drape on different body shapes and how a garment can be tailored for the perfect fit.
I combine my technical knowledge with a stylist’s perspective to create wardrobes that are cohesive, stylish, and true to clients personal taste. I work closely with clients to explore and expand personal style, whilst always respecting individual preferences.
Who I Style
I personally style women and men of all nationalities, working with professionals across industries tech, law, finance, start-ups, the arts, media, medicine, and property. My clients include professionals, leaders, founders, creatives, business owners, ultra and high-net-worth individuals.
Alongside one-to-one styling, I offer a variety of corporate styling services. Including styling front of house teams, style and fashion psychology talks, as well as express colour analysis events for companies and organisations. Personal branding talks are created to motivate and inspire employees and every workshop or presentation can be customised for your company and industry.
