I’m Lisa O’Shaughnessy, and over the years I’ve worked with many individual male and female personal styling clients in London who have recommended me to their HR or events departments. This has led to running corporate styling and colour analysis sessions, with other businesses discovering me along the way.
When I started out as a personal stylist 11 years ago, I never imagined that companies would take an interest in what I do. Styling and design has always been my passion, and I was simply enjoying doing what I love. With over 20 years of experience, from fashion design and clothing manufacturing to sustainability, image and colour psychology, I’ve seen firsthand how personal styling can transform not just individuals, but entire teams. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch people gain confidence.
What has been really interesting is seeing the impact these styling sessions have, and the follow-up questions that often delve into my work experience rather than just the topic of my talk. When people understand colour, fit, and how to express their personality through what they wear, their confidence lifts instantly. Knowing the why gives you options. It’s a great reminder that style isn’t frivolous or superficial. It’s a powerful tool for self-assurance and professionalism.

With 11 years’ experience in colour analysis, delivering this in a team setting is an enjoyable and engaging activity for staff. Seeing the difference that the right or wrong colours make on each person’s skin is always exciting. With everyone getting involved - men and women of all ages - it often feels like a wow moment for both participants and me. While it might seem like magic, it’s really just proven techniques at work. Employees leave feeling inspired, confident, and eager to experiment with more colour.
Sessions take around 10 minutes per person, or extended for a more in-depth experience when time allows. Many participants are amazed by the process, as the visible results consistently exceed expectations and provide lasting insights into how personal style and colour choices can enhance professional image.
