I’m Lisa O’Shaughnessy, a London based personal stylist, and over the years I’ve worked with many individual clients who’ve later introduced me to their HR or events teams. Those introductions naturally grew into corporate styling events, talks and workshops,, which now forms a significant part of my business.
When I diversified into personal styling in 2014, after working as a professional fashion designer, I initially ran both careers alongside each other for four years. I never imagined how interested companies would be in learning about personal styling and the inner workings of the fashion industry. With over 20 years’ experience spanning fashion design, clothing manufacturing, sustainability, image, and colour psychology, I’ve seen firsthand how styling can transform not just individuals, but entire teams. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch people gain confidence and elevate their professional presence.

Using a blend of image and colour psychology, statistics, and real-life anecdotes from my experience as both a fashion designer working in the UK and overseas and a personal stylist, I ensure the talks connect in a meaningful way. I also explore why certain things hold us back, offer strategies to overcome them, and highlight ways to build more sustainable wardrobes.

With 11 years’ experience in colour analysis, delivering this in a team setting is an enjoyable and engaging activity for staff. Seeing the difference that the right or wrong colours make on each person’s skin is always exciting. With everyone getting involved - men and women of all ages - it often feels like a wow moment for both participants and me. While it might seem like magic, it’s really just proven techniques at work. Employees leave feeling inspired, confident, and eager to experiment with more colour.
Sessions take around 10 minutes per person, or extended for a more in-depth experience when time allows. Many participants are amazed by the process, as the visible results consistently exceed expectations and provide lasting insights into how personal style and colour choices can enhance professional image.
